KUANTAN, March 4 — A student was killed after the motorcycle he was riding collided with another along Jalan Kuantan-Maran near here yesterday, police said today.

Hisham Shamsuddin, 19, of Felda Lepar Hilir 3, Gambang, died at the Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital here, said Pahang Public Order and Traffic Department chief Supt Mohamed Fauzi Abdul Rahim.

He said Hisham was riding alone from Kuantan to Gambang when the accident happened at 6.30 pm.

The other motorcyclist, policeman Mohd Nasir Dol Rashid, 54, was injured in the hands and waist and was treated at a health clinic in Gambang, he said. – BERNAMA
