KUANTAN, Jan 4  – Two motorcyclists were reported killed in Pahang yesterday, one here and the other in Bera, police said today.

Student Mohd Adam Firdaus Mohd Sharif, 18, was killed after he was involvedbin a head-on collision with a lorry along Jalan Bukit Setongkol-Cenderawasihhere at 10 am, said Pahang Public Order and Traffic chief Supt Mohamed Fauzi Abdul Rahim.

Mohd Adam, of Bukit Setongkol, was riding from the Cenderawasih housing estate to Kuantan when the accident happened, he said, adding that he died on the spot.

Mohamed Fauzi said that in Bera self-employed Muhammad Syahrin Lokman, 21, was also killed in an accident involving a lorry, along Jalan Felda Gugusan Bera, at 7.50 pm.

He died when receiving treatment at the Padang Luas health clinic in Triang, he said.

Muhammad Syahrin was riding from Triang to his home in Felda Triang 1 when the accident happened, he added. — BERNAMA
