Felda publicity director Datuk Noor Ehsanuddin Mohd Harun Narrashid said,Felda was confident the security forces could ensure the security of 3,000 residents, including 1,700 settlers, in the area.  

 "Felda Sahabat has 1,700 settlers in an area measuring in excess of 100,000 hectares, with the Felda Security Unit assisted by the police and army.  

 "We are confident there is no problem and the settlers can continue their daily tasks as the situation is under control," he told Bernama when met at a function, Klik Dengan Bijak (Click Wisely), organised by the MalaysianCommunications and Multimedia Commission at Felda Banding here last night.  - Bernama
